COVID-19 March Customer Update

m|devices is keen to keep our customers informed regarding current stock supply, in-light of global supply chain challenges following the outbreak of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Chinese production is traditionally low in January through to March, as many factories close for the Lunar New Year holiday. As such, m|devices built-up inventories for many of our stock items towards the end of the calendar year to support customers’ requirements until normal production cycles and shipments resumed after the holidays.

We carry an average of six months’ worth of stock on Tender items, on either forecast (new tenders) or known demand history.

Stock levels are good on most m|devices products and where supply issues are in question, contingencies are in-place to manage their expedient delivery. Customers will be contacted directly if there is any doubt regarding supply.

Please note that we have put controls in-place to alert us of any unusual purchasing, to ensure we can defend the supply requirements for our current customers.

We are also happy to work with you on alternative delivery methods to support your requirements. Orders by air can be faster but it is a more expensive and the cost would be passed on.
